A sudden heart attack caused the death Wednesday afternoon (January 21, 1942) of Louis Delbert Russell, 69 years old, at his home, 417 Parkdale Avenue. Mr. Russell had spent practically all of his life in this vicinity.  He was born in Southfield Township, the son of Frank Russell and Lydia Powell.  For the
past year he and his wife lived at the Parkdale address and were remodeling the house.
He is survived by his widow, Rose Anne, one son, Clarence Russell of Auburn Avenue, two brothers,
Corrie Russell of Rochester and Frank Russell of Macomb County.
Services will be held Saturday from the A. C. Hobart Chapel with Rev. William Hill Collycott of St. Paul’s
Methodist Church in charge.  Interment will be in Rochester Cemetery.
