BALDWIN, 79, of Curran, died Wednesday, Jan 31, 2001 at his residence.He was born July 31, 1921 in Barton City to Clarence and Nina BALDWIN. He lived all his life in Alcona County. He married Phyllis M. BUGG on April 10, 1945 in Harrisville. He worked as a logging contractor and enjoyed gardening and fishing. Mr. Baldwin is survived by his wife, Phyllis; two daughters, Sally (Leroy) YODER of Curran, and Peggy BALDWIN of Lincoln; one son, Allan (Dianne) BALDWIN of Lewiston, Mich.; nine grandchildren, Duane YODER, Corey (Becky) YODER, Kriss (Charlie) BROOKS, Joshua (Tonya) BALDWIN, Stephanie (Mark) MORRIS, Jennifer DELLAR, Sandra (Dave) ZAL, Loren and Eric DELLAR; four great-grandchildren, Thomas YODER, Kodie YODER, Josalyn BALDWIN, Cejay YODER; three sisters, Bernice (Roy) McPHERSON of Rhodes, Mich., Opal (Leroy) BRABB of Oscoda, and Edith (Gordon) STREETER of Flint, Mich. Mr. Baldwin was preceded in death by one son, Thomas BALDWIN; four sisters, Gladys, Ada, Vera, Edna; and two brothers, Orville and Meryl.A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Robert MARTZ, was held Monday, Feb 5 at the Orr Funeral Home in Mio. Burial will be in Mitchell Township Cemetery in Curran.Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Sunrise Shore, Alpena."
